For organizations with 5+ staff

Apply for Claude for Nonprofits immediately. The 75% discount on Team tier gives you enterprise-grade privacy at consumer prices ($8/user/month, minimum 2 seats). Verify through Goodstack — the process takes under 5 minutes.

For organizations with fewer than 5 staff

The nonprofit Team discount now requires a minimum of 2 seats ($16/month minimum). For very small teams, the individual Free or Pro tier with training disabled and Incognito mode is an option for non-sensitive tasks. Avoid client data entirely on consumer tiers.

For health data or vulnerable populations

Enterprise tier with the HIPAA-ready offering and a BAA is appropriate for healthcare nonprofits. Since January 2026, qualifying organizations (FQHCs, CAHs, rural health clinics with 501c3 status) are eligible for the nonprofit Enterprise discount. Contact Anthropic sales to confirm eligibility and negotiate pricing.
