Wix launched native HIPAA compliance tools in January 2026 and expanded the solution in April 2026 to more users across the U.S. and Europe. Business Elite and Enterprise subscribers can activate PHI Protection and sign a BAA directly in their dashboard. Lower tiers (Free through Business) remain non-compliant. Only native Wix apps are covered under the BAA — third-party App Market apps require separate vetting.

Wix Harmony: new AI website builder (January 2026)

Wix launched Wix Harmony, its new flagship AI website builder, combining natural-language 'vibe coding' with full drag-and-drop visual editing. Its AI agent, Aria, generates entire sites, pages, or sections from natural-language prompts and continuously assists inside the editor. Wix has since expanded its named AI agent lineup to include Kleo (marketing/SEO), Juno (customer engagement/inbox), and Omni (business task automation), alongside standalone tools like AI image generation, meta tag creation, and product descriptions.
