No training on user data

Iterative Search Process (2-6 minutes per search)

Unlike instant AI search, Undermind takes 2-6 minutes per search because it performs iterative searches: keyword, semantic, citation-based. Adapts strategy based on what it finds. Reads thousands of papers, follows citation trails, and produces a comprehensive report. This depth is why it claims 10x better results than Google Scholar.

Searches Semantic Scholar database (225M+ papers, from PubMed, arXiv, and cross-disciplinary content). Pro tier adds insights generation, custom tables, research alerts for new publications, timeline analysis, and export to Zotero/EndNote/Covidence. Full text analysis where available.

No AI Training on Customer Data

Terms of Service updated to v1.1 (December 6, 2024): Clarified liability for AI-generated outputs, expanded user responsibilities, and added prohibited uses (medical, legal, financial, life-critical decisions). Added explicit acknowledgment that AI/RAG technology may produce incomplete or inaccurate information.
